Grace was born 1798 in County Cavan (parents unknown). She was a seamstress.
In 1821 she was sentenced at the Coubny Cavan Summer Assizes to 7 years transportation for "house robbery"
25 June 1823 she arrived in Sydney aboard "Woodman", She was ill at the time and taken straight away to Sydney Hospital
24 March 1828 she married David Thompson, a Scottish convict at Newcastle, NSW
22 February 1872 she died at Hobbys Yards, Carcoar, NSW, aged 74
